Does the board need to be plugged in?
Yes. The board has no battery and runs from USB Type-C at DC 5V / 2A. Use the cable in the box with any standard 5V/2A adapter.

Completely. PIXDOU is free on both iOS and Android with no subscription, no in-app purchases and no ads. Firmware and pattern updates are free for the life of the product.
Do I have to buy MWOXXO beads forever?
No. The board uses the standard 2.6 mm mini fuse bead gauge, so beads from any supplier will work. Configure whichever colours you own in the app's Bean Warehouse and the pattern colours are matched to your set automatically.
Is an iron included?
An iron is not included — a normal household iron is all you need, plus the ironing paper that comes in the box. Ironing must be done by an adult.
How long does ironing take?
With baking paper, 3–5 seconds is usually enough. With a baking mat, allow 30–50 seconds. Watch the beads as they fuse and stop when the holes begin to close. Let the piece cool for 3–5 minutes before lifting it.
Which size should I start with?
P52 is the easiest place to begin — it is quick to fill and ideal for keychains and magnets. Choose P78 if you want to work on detailed portraits and landscapes, or P104 for wall art. Every size includes the same complete kit.
